Image Review Nights

The one activity that distinguishes the WSPC is the very friendly Image Review that we hold on the last Friday night of each month. Due to the strong participation in Image Review Nights and space limitations, the first 20 -25 people will be accepted.  A confirmation email will be sent to confirm your attendance in advance. The purpose of image review nights is to:

  1. provide a valuable forum to gain feedback to improve photographic skills;
  2. create an opportunity to be inspired by the work of fellow members including new ways of seeing and discovering new locations;
  3. create a gathering place to socialize with fellow members.

This year we would like to continue to build on the theme, “What Makes a Great Image?” and so would like to spend a little more time critiquing images.  We will provide a handout to help with that at this.  Bring your best images, your troubled images, your wild ideas .... and  receive helpful, constructive suggestions from fellow members.  Or just come to watch and learn. Two images can be submitted.  Number the image with a 4 digit random number and your name.  The first image should start with a 1, and the second image should start with a 2 i.e., 1277_TLR, 2077_TLR
Critique images will be mixed without the photographer’s identity named.
Prints and slides welcome (just let us know in advance to bring slide projector)

Image Instructions

Check image preparation instructions on our website, www.winnipegsouthphotoclub.ca/about WSPC. Once your images are ready, email them to wspcir@gmail.comby 8:00 pm the Tuesday before image review night

Images which do not meet the requirements will not be accepted. Images presented at the last moment on discs and memory sticks will not be accepted.
