Mike Grandmaison will talk about the process that Photo Central uses to print images for him. We will also get a sneak preview of Mike’s new gallery due to open March 21st. See the gallery’s web site at www.thecanadiangallery.com

March 2: Our World – A Photographer’s Perspective - Presentation by Keith Levit. View Keith's poster.
Keith Levit first picked up a second hand camera 30 years ago. The ensuing years have seen Keith creatively pursue his concept of merging photography and art, in both the black and white and colour mediums. Many of his images have been created during his extensive travels throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North & South America.
His passion for photography, love of travel and adventure, coupled with his sensitive, profound, honest affection for people, embody images that capture the heart and soul of the world's most remote and inaccessible regions and the people who inhabit them. See more of Keith's photography at www.keithlevitphotography.com and www.takestockphoto.com.

February 16:
Physics of Photography - Optics and Beyond

Photo Restoration - Geoff Lussier
- We all have photographs, usually prints and particularly old family photos and treasured mementos, that have suffered from damage, aging and deterioration. Thanks to scanners and the magic of photo editing software, these images can often be restored, sometimes to better than new condition. Geoff will show us how. Also see Geoff’s website at http://www.icarusphotografix.com/

Chris Brown - After decades of marriage to an artist, Chris has refined the technique of faithfully reproducing paintings for publication on the Internet, and now does this for many artists. The evening will cover the full gamut from creating a successful image with a point-and-shoot camera and daylight to using a DSLR with precise white balance control and studio lighting. See poster. See Chris' Flickr website.

October 6: Photography, A Moment in Time - Then & Now Winnipeg - We are extremely privileged to have as our speakers two of our own talented and entertaining members Harry Johnson and David Low. Please see the attached poster.
